SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS FOR NOVEMBER 9TH TO 11TH GOLF AND CLE EVENT IN SCOTTSDALE, AZ.

The golf and CLE event scheduled to be held in Scottsdale, AZ at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort is going to be a unique event for both attendees and sponsors alike. With it's theme of " A Fresh Approach" the WTLA has extended that theme to it's opportunities to sponsor and support not just the WTLA but also attorneys and trial organizations from your home state that might be attending or golfing in this unique two day tournament.

The options for sponsors are as follows:

VIDEO CLE SPONSORS

The Legal Broadcast Network, in partnership with WTLA will be producing, prior to the November event, 4 hours of CLE to be initially available to all attendees in a DVD format as part of their convention package. This will be in addition to the 8 hours of on sight live CLE with one day concentrating on Mass Torts and the second day concentrating on personal practice development.

Of the 4 hours of video CLE the hours will break out as follows:

1. A fresh approach to the Settlement Process. This hour long round table CLE will offer opportunities for experts in structured settlements, factoring, medicare lien resolution, settlement ethics and trust products to discuss the new methods, approaches and attitudes needed for trial lawyers to successfully negotiate, structure and resolve settlements in what is a rapidly changing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to educate trial lawyers on the most recent changes in a variety of areas, as well as make them aware of options to protect their clients and their practices in ways they couldn't imagine 5 years ago.

2. A fresh approach to court room technology, information management and the use of technology to compete in the court room against well funded defense interests. Technology is changing so rapidly, and the ability to illustrate, compare, contrast, compile and organize data on your case is often the difference between success or failure in a trial. This is an opportunity for court room technology firms to shape a CLE presentation of significant value to trial lawyers aroundthe country.

3. A fresh approach to legal finance and options for funding litigation. As any trial lawyer knows the world of legal finance is changing almost weekly, with firms that can fund complex litigation, advance legal fees, finance expenses and other options that were the sole province of banks just 5 to 6 years ago. Perhaps no other area calls out for experts in the industry to be part of this hour of CLE to explain options, drawback and potential pitfalls of various approaches.

4. One hour of legal ethics. The module will be provided by several academics of note in the area of handling Mass Tort litigation as both a referring attorney and the attorney handling the actual litigation of mass torts. While not open to industry experts this module will be highly sought both as a broadcast and later as a CLE for purchase and sponsorship of this hour of CLE is available to interested sponsors.

The Cost of Video CLE Sponsorship as a CLE presenter: $5000.

The benefits of Video CLE Sponsorship

  • Participation on a 4 person panel as an expert in your respective area of knowledge. Only one expert per industry or specialty will appear on any one CLE.
  • All CLE will be shot on High Definition digital and professionally edited by LBN Studios into a 4 hour DVD. Taping will occur 6 weeks prior to the actual CLE event and taping will take place in Phoenix, AZ at the LBN studios near SkyHarbor airport..
  • After event excerpts of the CLE will be broadcast on The Legal Broadcast Network, The Settlement channel, The WTLA broadcast channel and other online media outlets. In addition to the broadcasts all excepts and CLE's will be available for purchase by Attorney's nationwide for up to a year after the event.
  • You or your firm will have a 5 minute "image piece" or commercial about your firm, your services, and your support and participation in the WTLA event created at the taping and made available for you to email, podcast or use on your web site for up to a year after the event. You will also be featured on the LBN and WTLA web sites as featured sponsors of the event with your video available for viewing on those sites.
  • You are invited to attend the actual CLE event in November, at which your firm will be listed in the program, web sites and mailings as a featured video sponsor.
  • You may at your election use your "sponsors exemption" to have one member of your organization golf in the two day event.
  • You are invited to participate in all social functions that weekend, including the welcome social, poker/casino night, golf bbq, CLE, etc.

All of this for what you usually pay for a page in a program, but with this option your expertise is recorded, shared and broadcast to the estimated 30,000 listeners and viewers of the LBN network, not to mention a great weekend of golf, CLE, networking and social events.

Please note that Video CLE sponsorships are VERY limited and once filled they are gone. It's 13 total sponsors in the respective areas so don't delay if you want more information or wish to sponsor.

STATE ASSOCIATION TEAM SPONSOR WITH SPONSORSHIP EXCEMPTION TO PLAY BOTH DAYS.

Cost $2500.

For the serious golfer who wants to sponsor their home state team, or the team of a state you do a lot of work in, this team sponsorship is a unique oppoturnity to support your state association AND play along with them. This sponsorship features the following benefits:

  • Your funds underwrite the cost of golf for the state association you wish to sponsor. So you can pay for the tournament entry and allow those attorneys to enjoy two days of great golf thanks to your generousity.
  • You get to play as the 5th man in the states foursome, with your score counting if they choose to use it. It's a no lose, you get two days of golf with your friends and clients, with your cost of golf included as well.
  • You get to attend all social events and CLE sessions during the 3 day event.
  • You are recognized in all event blogs, publicity, programs and banners.
  • You and your team members will have a specially designed plaque and photo of the event with your companies sponsorship clearly indicated on the plaque. A permanent reminder of your support and participation for your states team.
  • Inclusion in our "golf video podcast". Yes we will have the camera crews from LBN out at the course each day to record the teams as they warm up, tee off, play the course and finish their rounds. This highlight film will be a signature event that will be a permanent reminder of your weekend in Scottsdale.

NON-PLAYING STATE GOLF TEAM SPONSOR.

Cost : $2000

This sponsorship is identical to the playing sponsor package, with of course the notable feature that only the state foursome will be playing, and the sponsor will not be playing. This is ideal for sponsors who wish to help out their state but can't play due to other obligations, no desire to play in a competitve event, or because all playing sponsorships have been filled.

HOLE SPONSORSHIPS

Cost: $500

Hole sponsors obtain a listing on the blog and podcast pages.

A sign and flag for their hole is provided each day.
